Vegetation Fire Reported In Camp Parks In Dublin

Cal Fire, San Ramon Valley and Alameda County crews responded.

DUBLIN, CA – A five-acre brush fire burned this afternoon in Camp Parks in Dublin, with smoke visible throughout the Tri-Valley region, according to reports.

Crews from Cal Fire, the San Ramon Valley and Alameda County fire departments and the army base responded to the blaze logged at 3:09 p.m., according to Aisha Knowles, AlCo Fire spokesperson.

As of approximately 4 p.m., the fire was 50 percent contained with progress stopped and no reports of injuries or threatened structures, Knowles said.

Knowles said a downed power line likely caused the fire.
