Volunteers Needed For 11th Annual Creek Cleanup Day In Dublin
Dublin's Creek Cleanup Day is part of California Coastal Cleanup Day, which is the largest volunteer event in the United States.
DUBLIN, CA — The City of Dublin is seeking volunteers for its 11th Annual Creek Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will meet at Emerald Glen Park (near the basketball courts along Gleason Drive) for instructions and a light breakfast before heading out to one of four creeks. At noon, participants can return to Emerald Glen Park for a pizza lunch.
Dublin’s Creek Cleanup Day is part of California Coastal Cleanup Day, which is the largest volunteer event in the United States. Cleaning up Dublin's creeks and waterways helps preserve local habitats and reduces marine pollution that travels to the San Francisco Bay through local creeks, storm drains and waterways.
