Vote For Dan Cunningham, Amy Miller, Sameer Hakim and Joe Giannini for Dublin School Board
Dublin Unified School Board Candidates
Dear Editor,
The citizens of Dublin will be voting on four Dublin Unified School Board seats next week. It is important that we elect the most qualified candidates to serve the students of Dublin. I believe the most qualified candidates are Dan Cunningham, Amy Miller, Sameer Hakim and Joe Giannini. Dan, Amy and Sameer are incumbents and have worked very hard to help implement programs in our schools, such as the Hub at Dublin High, which provides academic support to students during the school day. They successfully lobbied in Sacramento to have developer fees increased, so that developers will pay more money for new school construction. They supported Measure H, a local school bond that was passed in June, which will help fund a second high school. The passage of Measure H was critical for our district to build a second high school. I cannot vote for any candidate who supports a second high school, but campaigned against Measure H.
Joe Giannini has been a very active parent in our district and has served on various district committees. I served on a committee with Joe that dealt with growth in our district. Joe asked questions, did his homework and was vocal about his opinions. He attends school board meetings regularly, not just when there is a controversial issue on the agenda. Joe worked in support of Measure H and is passionate about being involved in our district.

These four candidates will work very hard to: support our students so that they can succeed, provide sound solutions to our growth and keep our district fiscally solvent. I hope you will join me in voting for Dan Cunningham, Amy Miller, Sameer Hakim and Joe Giannini for Dublin School Board on Nov. 8.
