Will Rain Spoil The Tri-Valley's Halloween?

Find out if you'll need a waterproof costume this year.

LIVERMORE, CA — As the Tri-Valley gets ready for Halloween, many residents may be worried that their costumes will get wet. Rain is predicted across the region, and the National Weather Service warned that high tides and additional water from rising sea levels could cause flooding in parts of the Bay Area.

So what’s in store for the Tri-Valley Saturday night?

Daytime highs are supposed to peak at around 67 degrees, and will drop to 57 degrees in the later evening. Forecasters predict a 20% chance of rain during the day, and a 25% chance at night. The National Weather Service estimates that the rain will only accumulate to less than 0.10 inches, with the highest amounts closer to the coast.
