XBA WINS Third Place At AAU Western Nationals

XBA 6th Red team won third place at the AAU Western Nationals Open Division held in Las Vegas, NV July 14-17 Led by their tenacious defense, XBA pushed to a third place finish. The AAU Western Nationals 6th Girls Division comprised of eleven teams from seven states. Only two teams were from the Bay Area.

XBA qualified for the Gold Championship bracket by winning their pool and beating a very tough New Mexico Wildcats team.

After taking an early lead, XBA lost in the semifinals to Team Sol who is number 2 in the nation, XBA finished the tournament in third place behind #1 nationally ranked Oklahoma Fire and #2 nationally ranked Team Sol (Capitol Heights, MD).

This third place win capped off a great 48-2 session record. Other notable tournament wins this past session include:
