3 Dead, Including Child, After Minivan Goes Over Side of 134 Freeway in Eagle Rock
The crash is reported at 6:55 p.m. on the eastbound lane at Figueroa Street.
Update: CBS2/KCAL9 is reporting that alcohol might have been a factor in the crash, but that the minivan also blew a tire before skidding off the freeway and landing onto Figueroa Street below. A 6-year-old girl who survived the crash was evidently not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Previously: A vehicle went over the side of the Ventura (134) Freeway Sunday evening in Eagle Rock, killing three people, including a child, and hospitalizing three others, a city fire official said.
The crash was reported at 6:55 p.m. on the eastbound 134 at Figueroa Street, according to Brian Humphrey, a spokesperson of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three people—a man, a woman and a girl—were pronounced dead at the scene, Humphrey said.
A 55-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a six-year-old girl were taken to hospitals in serious to critical conditions, Humphrey said.
The group was apparently all in the same vehicle, possibly a minivan, Humphrey said.
The cause of the crash was unknown.
