3 Dead, Including Child, After Minivan Goes Over Side of 134 Freeway in Eagle Rock

The crash is reported at 6:55 p.m. on the eastbound lane at Figueroa Street.

Update: CBS2/KCAL9 is reporting that alcohol might have been a factor in the crash, but that the minivan also blew a tire before skidding off the freeway and landing onto Figueroa Street below. A 6-year-old girl who survived the crash was evidently not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
