A few years ago I was in NYC, and took a side trip to visit friends who lived in the outskirts of the city. I came across these trees that looked like they had American flags draped over them. However, after closer inspection, I realized that someone quite talented had painted the American flag on them. I revisited the scene later that evening and that's the picture! A patriotic scene, quite fitting I think, just one day before the fourth of July in these here United States. While the images is not from Eagle Rock, I think it might inspire a local artist to do something like that in our community.
