Brush Fire Closes Lane On 2 Freeway In Eagle Rock

LOS ANGELES, CA — A brush fire burning alongside the northbound 2 Freeway in Eagle Rock prompted the closure of the far right lane Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported at about 8:30 a.m. near Colorado Boulevard, just before the 134 Freeway, the CHP said.

The right lane remained closed as of 10 a.m.

It was not immediately clear how large the fire was or when the lane would reopen.
