Blog: A Film of Work and Process by Eagle Rock's Peter Konerko

Photographer Peter Konerko is exquisitely captured at his Dahlia Heights studio in a film by J.J. Huckin that represents the working backbone of creative Eagle Rock.

Los Angeles is a working town defined by various elements of indelible occupations and the people behind them who populate our avenues and boulevards and thrive as the cities creative backbone.

The celebrated American photographer Peter Konerko, whose Dahlia Heights Studio is nestled in Eagle Rock, is one such elemental figure. Most of us may pass Colorado Boulevard every day and not know such talent makes their home on our sidestreets.

This exquisite video by J.J. Huckin, featuring the music of Ann Marie Calhoun captures Konerko and at the same time reminds me why I love being in Los Angeles. It projects a love I share for work and family and how, for all of us, they intertweave.
