Patch Blog: The Rise of the (Organic) Confederacy
Find out how to get fresh, local, organic produce right in the neighborhood!

Community Supported Agriculture—CSA—is a wonderful way to buy fresh, local, organic produce and help local farmers.
I found out about CSA just last week and ordered my first box of veggies—beautiful lettuce, kale, chard, some potatoes and citrus, the biggest bunch of celery I've ever seen. And there was more in the box that I picked up Wednesday afternoon at Occidental College!
If you're interested, the produce comes from the South Central Farmers' Cooperative, and is delivered on Wednesdays at Oxy. You can get lots of information by clicking this link. And you can order online by clicking this link.
