The world has met the Millennium Development Goal target of halving the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water, well in advance of the MDG 2015 deadline, according to a report issued

The Tap Project is currently in the spotlight as many blogs, newspapers, and services such as Zagat, OpenTable and the Huffington Post are spreading the news. If you regularly use these services, visit their sites and see which restaurants near you are participating. You can even check the UNICEF Tap Project map, which has all the restaurants that are participating this year even when you aren't in town. You can also check to see if there are any events within the month of April.
Eagle Rock's participating restaurants—the ones that participated in 2011—are perfect to visit during the spell of beautiful weather we’ve been having lately. It doesn't have to end on March 25, so ask your restaurant when they will stop collecting donations—the deadline for turning in collections is on April 30, 2012.
Let's make a reservation to save the world!
