p h o r i a: a trans musical anthology

On August 8 @ 7:30 pm, join the singers of gender-expansive octet 8TPS and an all-trans string quartet for the inaugural production of p h o r i a, a musical anthology of contemporary works by trans & nonbinary composers. Inspired by the root -phoria (derived from the Greek word “phoros” meaning “to carry”), this concert promises to take audiences on an emotional journey through a new lexicon of words for trans experience, from the search for belonging to the carrying of our own flowers.
