Practical Horticulture

The course will cover practical aspects of gardening in raised beds and container gardening.

Topics to be covered in the intial meeting will include bed preparation: what tools are needed, how to use them and the proper body mechanics to insure gardeners do not injure themselves.

This is a hands-on course so wear old, comfortable clothes and bring work gloves. We will be preparing one or more beds, digging out roots and getting ready for Spring planting.

There is no charge.
