Youth Acting Program and Summer Institute of Fun

The Occidental College Children’s Theater is happy to be opening enrollment for two upcoming programs:


The next session of the Youth Acting Program’s Saturday morning classes starts May 26. Ages 6-8 can sign up for the Storytelling class (9:15-10:30am) which focuses on teamwork and imaginative play. Ages 9-12 can take Improv (10:30am-12pm) which focuses on quick creative thinking and building positive reactions incomedic scenes. Class show at the end of 8 weeks.


The Summer Institute of Fun is a series of weeklong workshops in July and August that will teach children techniques in physical theater, group improvisation, storytelling, tumbling and movement. Morning camp (ages 6-8) and Afternoon camp(ages 8-12) run July 16- August 17 with a special teen week August 20-25. Classshow at the end of each week.
