Bite of Spiritual Healing” Documentary Screening in Eagle Rock

We are proud to announce that the award-winning documentary

Mosquito Filipino “A Bite of Spiritual Healing” by R.A. Mendoza will have two free screenings on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at the Rock Community Center located at 1597 Yosemite Drive in Eagle Rock/Los Angeles, CA 90041.



The doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the screenings will be at 5:45 and 7:30 p.m.

The documentary chronicles R.A. Mendoza and his late mother 

Concepcion during their trip to his parents’ motherland the Philippines.  The producer and his mom didn’t know

that they would become peacemakers to both sides of their families.

It took 10 years to produce this Filipino-American documentary, and it’s been well received through many demographics as a very integral part of being proud of one’s roots and identity.



The film had its premiere at The Reef in Long Beach and had screenings at U.C.L.A., Hollywood, and Monterey County.



Donations are accepted and proceeds will be donated to the Frank & Concepcion B. Mendoza Scholarship Fund in the Philippines and the U.S.A.
