Proceeds will go toward repair and maintenance costs at the garden, which is operated entirely by volunteers.Eagle Rockdale is dedicated to organic food growing by local residents with approximately 45 individual garden plots, 10 communal plots, a rainwater garden, California native garden, a COB oven, and several installations donated by local artists.

One of Eagle Rock's “hidden treasures,” the garden was founded in 2006 on a former right-of-way for the old LA Railway (yellow line trolley). Eagle Rockdale is one of 30 projects of the Los Angeles Community Garden Council, which serves as its fiscal agent. http://lagardencouncil.org/.
