Republican Club Dinner, Tuesday, 4/7, will explore crime prevention.

The Republican Club of the Foothills invites you to enjoy an evening with Deputy Eric Matejka, Los Angeles Co. Sheriff's Department.

Deputy Matejka is a Community Services Officer and City Liaison with the Los Angeles Co. Sheriff’s Dept. He will provide us with information about how to protect ourselves and insure a safe environment in view of the recent increase of burglaries. Deputy Eric will inform us about safety even when we are going shopping, driving around in our vehicles, how to spot unusual or suspicious activities in your neighborhood, and not being hesitant about contacting the local Police or Sheriff’s Department.

With the new law that is discharging the less violent criminals from Prison, we are seeing an increase in burglaries in our Crescenta Valley area, many times due to the easy access to the local freeways.
