Verizon’s Phony Tree Wireless Tower Plan (Video)

A proposal to build a 70-foot fake pine tree designed to serve as a Verizon wireless tower near the 2 freeway in Glassell Park recently ran into opposition from community members. This video contrasts Verizon’s arguably unsightly design with the more aesthetically pleasing wireless towers that exist on a private property in Eagle Rock—in the form of three flagpoles.
