Word on the Street: Learn the Truth About Marketing from the People Who Are Doing it Best on Thursday, September 18, 2014

The third installment of “Word on the Street,” featuring Stephen Saiz, Chief Marketing Officer at Oddz, will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Downstairs Fifty Seven, 712 S. Santa Fe Avenue, Los Angeles.

Created by Rebel Industries’ founder, Josh Levine – “Word on the Street,” is an innovative conversation series where marketers on the front lines of building relevant youth brands are interviewed. As the brain behind dozens of ‘word of mouth’ marketing campaigns, Levine believes that the best marketing happens when you’re closest to the consumer. Too many companies are far removed and distracted by rapid changes in technology, competition, distribution, and other factors that are important, but not as important as staying connected to consumers.

Stephen Saiz is a digital media expert with more than 15 years of experience in the online and mobile space. He currently oversees marketing as the CMO for Oddz, a new real money gaming platform.
Previously head of worldwide marketing for Disney’s mobile games division, Stephen launched more than 50 mobile apps and won Apple’s prestigious Editors’ Choice award five times, including Best Fitness App of 2013 for Zumba Dance. He also led marketing for Where’s My Water? which delivered hundreds of millions of downloads. Stephen also co-founded HNDP, an innovative non-profit organization bringing music and digital arts education to under-served youth.

There will be a debut performance by Gabriel Garzòn-Montano after Word on the Street.
