Welcome to Beyond the Lock, Hemet’s locally-owned escape room created by a single mom and her son. Our fully immersive room, “The Bakery – Grandma’s Legacy,” is a story-based puzzle adventure filled with twists, teamwork, and fun for all ages.

It’s your first day on the job at Grandma’s Bakery… but something’s gone wrong. A very important ingredient has gone missing, and the clock is ticking. Can you uncover the clues, solve the puzzles, and save the bakery before time runs out?

Designed for groups of 2–8 players, our escape experience is:

Everything you’ll encounter—from the props and puzzles to the bakery setting itself—was lovingly designed and built by hand. We specialize in story-driven challenges that spark joy, laughter, and those “aha!” moments families remember.

Located in East Hemet, we’re easy to find and just minutes from local shopping and dining. Two additional escape rooms, each with new themes and surprises, are currently in the works.
