The project prioritizes East Palo Alto residents and Ravenswood school staff, and leverages outside funding and state density bonuses to significantly expand affordable housing options in the city.
   

• Victim identified in East Palo Alto fatal assault (paloaltoonline.com) — East Palo Alto police have identified 52-year-old Menlo Park resident Andres Alberto Henriquez Gomez as the man who died after a Sept. 3 assault near Runnymede Street and University Avenue. A 53-year-old East Palo Alto resident was quickly arrested and booked on manslaughter and assault charges, marking the city's first reported homicide in more than two years.
