Suspect In Peninsula Shooting Sought

A call came in shortly before 9 p.m. reporting a shooting on the 400 block of East O'Keefe Street.

EAST PALO ALTO, CA -- Police are asking the public for help in finding a suspect in a Saturday East Palo Alto shooting that sent a man to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the torso. A call came in shortly before 9 p.m. reporting a shooting on the 400 block of East O'Keefe Street, according to police.

A preliminary investigation revealed that an argument broke out at a party in an apartment complex, culminating in the shooting of a 28-year-old San Jose man, police said.

The suspect fled on foot, and the victim was taken to a hospital where he is in critical but stable condition, according to police.
