Thunderstorms Work Week Cool Down In East Palo Alto: 7-Day Forecast

EAST PALO ALTO, CA — Planning your week in town? Weather officials say that the beginning of the week may be subject to thunderstorms. After that, you can expect a cool down each day this work week, before temperatures rise back up slightly.

Here's the seven-day forecast for the area, courtesy of the National Weather Service:

Monday Afternoon
Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Monday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. North northeast wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. North wind 7 to 13 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. West southwest wind 6 to 14 mph becoming north in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
