Man Killed In Echo Park Shooting

ECHO PARK, CA — A 35-year-old man was killed in an Echo Park shooting, authorities said Monday.

The shooting occurred at 9:10 p.m. Sunday outside an apartment at 1126 White Knoll Dr., according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.

The victim was shot by a male suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle, she said.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance where he died from gunshot wounds, the spokeswoman said.

The victim's name was not released pending notification of relatives.
