Another Brush Fire Scorches Elysian Park
Several brush fires have broken out in Elysian Park in less than a week, but officials aren't saying whether arson is suspected.

ECHO PARK, CA — Firefighters knocked down three vegetation fires that scorched more than two acres very near each other in the area of Angels Point Road and Elysian Park Drive in Elysian Park.
It’s the fourth set of fires in Elysian Park since last week. However, Los Angeles Fire Department officials will not say if arson is suspected in any of the blazes.
As for Tuesday’s blaze, “It is under active investigation,” said Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department. “We do not have a cause determined.”
