EaterLA recently confirmed that Silver Lake’s raw vegan spot Cru has closed permanently. I have many questions for Cru, such as, where will Silver Lake’s raw foodists go for dehydrated flax and rubbed garlicky kale?

Juicers can fulfill their raw beet and pureed kale needs at Silver Lake Juice & Tea or Hedgehog in Echo Park – which, by the way, makes the least expensive juices I’ve found (talking under $5).
