Blog: Free Shows at Lot 1! Meep with Us!

Dear Blob,

I'm thrilled to report The Ukulady & Friendsies first Kid PartyShowFun at Lot 1 last month was a huge hit!  Eileen and Jason, proprietors of Lot 1, were amused to see their music room filled with kids and their handlers.   Eileen generously invested in fake fur swatches for each child to sit on and offered mini-cupcakes, artisan grilled cheese and beer for the weary parents (wide-eyed with joy at the opportunity to drink beer at a Kids Event)! 

Tiny humans dance/wriggled to songs like Cartoon Bears, Rainbow Valentine Fire Tornado and Friendheart and were riveted by special guests, April Hava Shenkman & her magical eggs & Professional Dad, Rob Blatt & his hit song, Eastside Baby.

The Ukulady's Evil Sandwich Band introduced the mini-humans to banjo, ukulele, mandolin and a half-werewolf/half-bunny on drums.

The Ukulady & Friendsies next PartyShowFun at Lot 1 is Saturday, April 21st at 4pm and features Mista Cookie Jar, Professional Dad, Rob Blatt & April Hava Shenkman!  Join us for partyfevermagic Good Times!

ps:  The Ukulady is excited to return to Lot 1 on April 15th for a very special music show for grown-ups with Gabby La La (formerly of Les Claypool's Fancyband), and our band, Kit'n'Tenders!  Plus Hardly an Aviator, Laura Serafine & Rachel Antony-Levine on Toy Piano!  A Free Musical evening with sitar, ukulele, toy accordion & Lot 1's delicious nibblies!
