The Ukulady & Lot 1 Cafe are excited to present FREE Echo Park Rising for Kids on August 25th!

Starting at 1pm until 4:30pm, Lot 1, home of the most delicious Grilled Cheese in Lalaland, will be hosting Musical Entertainer, The Ukulady & a cavalcade of family-friendly entertainers & musicians!

Fresh from a 20 library-show summer tour, The Ukulady returns to Echo Park and will be hosting a free variety show all day long! Here's the lineup:

1pm-1:30pm:  Michael Rayner:   Tricks & Comedy!  This incredible performer, who has warmed up TV audiences for millions of years, spins a cheeseburger on an umbrella!  Don't miss him!

1:30pm - 2pm:  Astrid Strudelman, The Unicorn Whisperer & her cousin, Spud Strudelman!  Plus Senor Monsiur Le Corndog & Todd Duffy (Office Space's Tchotchke's Waiter):  Interactive Art, Music & Games!

2pm - 2:30:  April Hava Shenkman:  Clownette & Performance Artiste!

2:30-3:30pm:  The Ukulady & The Evil Sandwiches:   Ukulele, Banjo, Slide Guitar, Bunny-on-Drums playing comedy-novelty songs from The Ukulady's new album!

3:30pm - 4:30pm:  Mista Cookie Jar & The Chocolate Chips:  Fresh from his appearance at NYC's Kindiefest, Mista Cookie Jar totesies rocks!

Kid-Handlers, Parents & Fun-Enthusiasts, Meep on down to Lot 1 Cafe Saturday, August 25th 1 - 4:30 and Meep with us!  FREEEEEEEE!  FREEEEEE!   Oh yes, it's FREE entertainment for Kids & their handlers! 

Plus Eileen and Jason of Lot 1, make ridiculously large and delicious sandwiches, burgers, salads & more, including grown-up beverages!
