Figurines and Abstract Paintings

Universal Art Gallery proudly presents the work of Brazilian artist and photographer Paulo P. Lima, Ph.D. in collaboration with abstract artist Angela Ungurean as it launches the Dreaming in Colors exhibition in Venice, California from May 16 through June 30, 2015. Dr. Lima will be showcasing his photography and latest collection of Brazilian Baroque Figurines, whereas Ms. Ungurean will be featuring her collection of abstract paintings, most in acrylic.

DESCRIPTION: Dr. Lima’s photography collection features a variety of subjects ranging from Baianas, iconic representations of women who sell acarajé, to pictures of dressed figurines, animals, people and Afro-Brazilian religious ceremonies in Brazil.

Abstract Artist Angela Ungurean will be showcasing her collection of paintings in, which she utilizes every day objects to accomplish special effects in her paintings using acrylic.
