Brazilian Designer and Researcher, Paulo P. Lima, Ph.D. Debuts Dreams And Revelations Exhibition

The New Exhibition Features Pieces Influenced By His Recent Trips to Brazil, Spain, Vietnam and the U.S

Brazilian designer and researcher, Paulo P. Lima, Ph.D. debuts new exhibition of photography and new collection of Brazilian dressed vintage Santos, reminiscent of the Baroque religious figurines at the Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles.

Dreams and Revelations is composed of nine figurines and 19 original photographs that feature the photographic work and design of Brazilian artist Paulo P. Lima, Ph.D.

Highlighting his research on Candomblé, Dr. Lima’s photography features moments of faith that focus on the beautiful attire worn during secular and religious ceremonies in Salvador and São Paulo, Brazil.

In addition to, his work with dressed vintage reproductions of Brazilian Baroque figurines focus more on the tradition of dressing saints during the 18th and 19th centuries.
