Classes for Children and Adults Offered at the Silver Lake Recreation Center

A free lunch will be provided for children this summer as well.

The Silver Lake Recreation Center will offer a host of classes this summer for all members of the family.

Summer camp for children is scheduled to begin on June 17. A free summer lunch will also be provided on Mondays through Fridays for children from the age of one to 17 years old beginning on June 10.

In addition, an hour-long beginning ballet for children ages three to four is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Mondays. The cost is $60 for eight weeks.

There will also be an intermediate ballet class designed for kids four to seven that meets at 5 p.m. on Mondays.

Yoga for adults will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The cost is $5 per class.

Tai chi for adults will meet from noon to 1 p.m. on Fridays. That class is also $2. A free adult painting class is scheduled for 1 pm. - 3 p.m. on Fridays.
