Changing the Paradigm Professional Conference

[NOTE:  This event, hosted by Echo Parenting & Education, will take place just outside of Echo Park at the California Endowment, 1000 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.]

Join Echo Parenting & Education for the historic Changing the Paradigm conference – an opportunity to explore and discuss the intersections of childhood trauma (Dr. Felitti), trauma informed care (Gabriella Grant) and nonviolent parenting (Ruth Beaglehole).

At Changing the Paradigm you will  learn about the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study, the tools you can use to make your work more trauma informed, and the importance of nonviolent parenting in not only preventing childhood trauma, but also protecting against, and aiding recovery from, those traumas that are outside a parent’s control.

In addition there will be field specific small group discussions, in-depth information about Echo Parenting & Education’s empathyled approach to family and system change, extensive information on trauma informed care and using theatre and visual arts for the expression and healing of trauma.
