
Celebrate, Educate, Stop Hate presents a free screening of Jonathan Menendez's film Gay LAtino LA | Coming of Age on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30pm at the Cathedral Center of Saint Paul, 840 Echo Park Blvd, LA CA 90026.
Gay Latino L.A: Coming Of Age is a docu-drama journey into adulthood of three young men and their search for identity while dealing with issues of family, machismo, religion, culture, and life in LA. An immigrant hipster from Mexico, a Berkley graduate and Salvadoran activist and a Mexican American from South Central LA who wants to get away from the gang life share their journeys with us.

Celebrate, Educate, Stop Hate mobilized in the summer of 2012 to address a hate crime that occurred in Echo Park against two young men perceived to be gay. Celebrate, Educate, Stop Hate meets on the second Monday of every month at 5:00pm at the Cathedral Center of Saint Paul in Echo Park. The public is welcome to attend.
