The Silverlake Food Pantry has been operating for the past year and a half, reaching out to roughly sixty low income and homeless families in the Silverlake area. Operating time is on Wednesdays, from 5:30-6:15 pm, operating from the fellowship hall at the Silverlake Community Church at 2930 Hyperion Ave.
Our food pantry provides groceries to these families, and other non-perishable foods to the homeless in the area.
Volunteers are needed to help set-up at around 4:30, help hand out groceries, and clean-up afterwards, until about 6:30pm.
