The National Braille Challenge

Sixty blind and visually impaired students, ages 6-19 from across the U.S. and Canada, compete for the top spots in The National Braille Challenge, an academic competition that raises awareness about the importance of braille literacy.

Chosen from more than 900 contestants from 42 states and two Canadian provinces, the students will show off their braille skills in a fast-paced, high-energy competition.
