The LA Phil’s pioneering Symphonies for Youth mix music with fun and fantasy for children ages 5-11. The wildly colorful musical setting that Stravinsky created for this Russian folk-tale is the subject of our second Symphonies for Youth program.
Each concert is a dramatic presentation, conducted by a Dudamel Conducting Fellow and staged by theater artists. Prior to the concert there are interactive art workshops related to the musical themes of the program.
