Modernica‘s biannual Downtown Modernism market for vintage modern design will be returning to Los Angeles on Sunday, May 29th. Collectors, connoisseurs, and treasure hunters will once again have the chance to peruse countless mid-century, modernist, and vintage artifacts from Modernica’s hand-picked group of modern dealers. This time around, the event will feature local artist SHAG and a booth full of his original works for purchase!
As always, Modernica will call in mid-century modern dealers from all over California to offer their best vintage goods, and their wares never disappoint. Each Downtown Modernism marketplace attracts thousands of shoppers that are seeking to stock up on furniture, lighting, art, and decor designed by the likes of Hans Wegner, Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, Harry Bertoia, and many more. Modernica will also be offering open-box items such as lamps and ceramics at discounted prices.
This outdoor market will stretch across 5 acres and include multiple food vendors and treats, as well as gourmet coffee. Performer/author Charles Phoenix will be back for a book signing and meet & greet, and be sure to drop by the booth of celebrated local artist Josh (SHAG) Agle, whose mid-century themed artwork is taking LA by storm.

The show will be held at the Modernica Factory in Downtown Los Angeles on May 29th from 8am to 2pm. As always, events at the Modernica Factory are family and pet-friendly.
