Fared Shafinury and his Texas-based ensemble create a heady mix of music that shines a light on the sibling-like voices of the Iranian setar and the Indian sitar. The traditional rhythms and melodies of Iran upon which his music is based will be thrust into the 21st century with the addition of Fabian Alsultany's (Globesonic and Tadasana Music & Yoga Festival) electronic beats, and Sussan Deyhim's ethereal vocalise, along with other special guests.
