Father Arrested in Fatal Silver Lake Stabbing of Daughter's Boyfriend
Breaking: A 23-year-old man died after being stabbed during a fight with his girlfriend's father.
LOS ANGELES, CA -- A man was fatally stabbed during an argument in the Silver Lake area with his girlfriend's father, who was taken into custody, police said today.
The crime occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Hoover Street, said Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman.
Rudy Barrera, 23, of Los Angeles died a short time later at a hospital, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. The suspect's name was not immediately released.
