The fire was reported 5:21 p.m. at 975 Everett St., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.The house was "well-involved" in flames when firefighters arrived, Humphrey said. Seventy-eight firefighters responded and knocked down the fire in 36 minutes, he said.There was no immediate word on what sparked the blaze.City News Service
