Focus On Your Health In Honor of Mother's Day By Participating in Free Health Screenings
Martin Luther King, Jr. Offers Offers Free Health Screenings Through Know Your Basics
Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital (MLKCH) celebrates healthy moms by providing free health screenings to the community through the “Know Your Basics” wellness campaign. This campaign aims to provide basic health information to assist the community with better health management. Free glucose, height/weight (BMI) and blood pressure screenings will be offered to the public at select beauty and barbershops this month. In honor of Mother’s day, breast cancer information and resources will be provided to attendees by the Susan G. Komen organization.Free copies of the MLKCH “Know Your Basics” community resource guide and fitness stretch bands will also be offered.
