About Melanie Mandl: Melanie works in a variety of media, including painting, sculpture and video installation. Her paintings and video installations are typically three-dimensional and encourage the viewer to see them from different angles, so that the imagery is revealed to them as they move past. She is also known for her award winning stop-motion shorts, Run and Silent Moon.

 
Create LA is committed to offering art instruction and education to area youth at no charge. Partnering with Keystone Art Space, Create LA’s on-staff educators will collaborate with Artists-in-Residence, as well as visiting artists, to provide various immersive fine art education opportunities to the young people of Los Angeles.
