LAPD Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing At Dodger Stadium
A Los Angeles Police helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing at Dodger Stadium Thursday due to a mechanical issue.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A mechanical issue forced a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter to make an emergency landing Thursday in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium.
An indicator on the helicopter's instrument panel warned of a mechanical problem on the chopper that had a pilot and observer aboard.
The aircraft landed aat about 2:10 p.m., outside the stadium, according to LAPD Officer Sal Ramirez.

Neither officer aboard the aircraft was injured, Ramirez said.
A mechanic was dispatched to determine the nature of the problem and if the helicopter could be flown back to its base, Ramirez said.
