Pet Whisperer to Sign Books Dec 10 during Downtown LA Art Walk
Popular animal communicator Terri Steuben gives pets a voice and helps owners better understand the needs and wants of their pets
Animal communicator Terri Steuben will sign copies of her two books, Secrets of a Pet Whisperer: Stop Telling Your Animals to Misbehave and Tails of Triumph: Animals Tell Their Katrina Stories, plus give advice to pet owners during Art Walk on Thursday, December 10, at 6-8 p.m. at Pussy & Pooch Pethouse and Pawbar, 564 South Main St., Los Angeles.
Steuben, a disaster responder with The Humane Society of the United States, wrote a memoir earlier this year based on her experiences in Louisiana in 2005 as part of the largest animal-rescue effort in history. Tails of Triumph offers a unique perspective on the historic event – as her rescue team took them to safety, the animals told Steuben their inspiring stories of courage, resourcefulness and love.
Secrets of a Pet Whisperer is Steuben’s how-to guide for pet owners who want to more effectively communicate with their dogs, cats, birds and other animals. Her “talking pictures” technique is easy to learn and sends clear messages that pets can understand. The book will put animal behavior in a new light, help pets be good instead of bad, and deepen your bond with them.
