If life imitates art, then we're doomed. The Walking Dead, World War Z, Left 4 Dead, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies—they all tell us that the zombie apocalypse is coming.
Unless we rewrite it. In this workshop, we'll use STEM fields and techniques (epidemiology, simulation, bioengineering, mathematical modeling) to investigate the zombie phenomenon and ways to fight back against the living dead. When it's all over, hopefully we'll have stories to tell about our hard-earned, glorious victory.
Ages: 9 -14
Note: This workshop consists of 4 sessions on Saturdays and it is encouraged that students attend all of the sessions.
