With our world-famous sunshine and abundant empty rooftop space, Los Angeles should be a solar leader. That's why Environment California is calling on the LA city government to commit to 20% solar power by 2020. As part of our campaign, we're hosting a community meeting in Silver Lake from 3:00-4:30 pm on November 24. We'll have presentations from State Senator Kevin de León and from businesses and homeowners that have chosen solar power. You'll have the chance to get involved in the campaign through a letter-writing workshop, brainstorming, and fun art projects and activities for kids!
