Boek has run Public Works Improvisational Theater for a number of years--a theater with lots of social consciousness layered with tons of dramatic fun.

Some of the city’s most talented performers will tell stories, but then there will be an open mike--which often at his events provides pleasant surprises.

Among the performers are Tequila Mockingbird, Larry Hankin, Raspin Stuart, Peter Coca, Mona Jean, Rosemary Soto and Jason Jones.

Admission is free.
