Sunset Junction Festival May Not Happen
The city is threatening to withhold permits until Sunset Junction settles up their bill from last year, while organizers claim the $267,000 bill is bogus.

For the first time in 31 years, the Sunset Junction festival may not take over the intersection of Santa Monica Blvd. and Sunset Blvd. for its annual celebration. City officials claim the fair owes the city $267,000 in unpaid fees from last year's shindig, and are threatening to withhold permits until the bill is paid. SJ's organizers are challenging the fees.
