The Title Trackers Bring "Rock & Roll Carnival" to Stage at The Satellite in Silver Lake - "Lost Title Tracks" Album Release Concert on March 29 to Satirize Bono, Johnny Cash, Jim Morrison, and Other Legends

With media, online, and public interest surging, and noted fans like Alan Parsons and Richie Cannata, The Title Trackers bring their rock & roll carnival to Silver Lake’s classic venue The Satellite (formerly Spaceland) to celebrate the release of Lost Title Tracks on Sunday, March 29 at 8pm.
Set for a March 10 release, The Title Trackers’ Lost Title Tracks is a concept album that parodies and pays homage to rock icons past and present. The record features ten title tracks for legendary albums without one – all written and recorded by the project founders. A title track is a song with the same name as the album it appears on. While many albums have a title track (Born to Run, Let It Be), many do not (The Joshua Tree, Exile on Main Street).
The three project founders started out by asking themselves, “What might it have sounded like if the Rolling Stones had recorded a SONG called ‘Exile on Main Street’ for that iconic album?” The resulting satirical song “living in EXILE ON MAIN STREET” received high praise from the public and industry experts, including rock legend Alan Parsons: “I think the songs are really good and I think the concept is brilliant. ‘Exile’ is unmistakably Stones – hats off to you.”

Richie Cannata, Billy Joel’s sax and organ player on the classic 1980 album Glass Houses, lent his talents to The Title Trackers’ song “throwing stones at GLASS HOUSES.” Cannata also lauded the project: “What a great concept and project to honor such a great era of music and album making.”
On the heels of the March 10 album release, The Title Trackers bring their rock & roll carnival to the stage on Sunday, March 29. The show features a series of satiric “cameos”: Jim Morrison staggers through the audience, Bono preaches to the masses, Johnny Cash riles up the prisoners of San Quentin, Bruce and Billy vie for the East Coast crown. At times comic, at other times poignant, this interactive show blends rock concert and theater performance to deliver The Title Trackers’ original rock anthems. And for good measure, the show includes some of the band’s favorite REAL title tracks, like “Lola,” “Help!,” “Graceland.”

The spectacle begins even before the show with a vinyl carnival featuring audience engagement like Title Track Karaoke and You Spin the Vinyl. Tickets for the show are available at www.thesatellitela.com.
Co-founder Russell Wiener says, “Trying to capture and conjure the spirits of our rock heroes on record was a real adventure. Now to do so on stage gives the songs a whole new dimension and personality.”
The vinyl album will be available online at Amazon, the band’s website, and in select stores nationwide.
The three members of The Title Trackers have put decades into performing, writing, and producing music in their respective bands and projects – and honoring those that have influenced them through the years. Russell Wiener has worked with some of his musical heroes, engineering and producing sessions and live events for Ray Manzarek, Alan Parsons, David Pack, Steve Perry, and others. Andy Hill created Dylanfest – an annual all-day concert dedicated solely to the music of Bob Dylan. David Tokaji is the frontman and songwriter for Dry September, a band that pays tribute to influences like MLK, Cesar Chavez, and James Joyce.
