Up to 60 Customers Without Water Service After El Sobrante Pipe Break
EBMUD spokeswoman Abby Figueroa said crews responded early this morning to a leaking pipe at the 3800 block of San Pablo Dam Road.

Up to 60 customers have had their water service disrupted this morning by a broken water pipe in the community of El Sobrante, East Bay Municipal Utility District officials said. EBMUD spokeswoman Abby Figueroa said crews responded early this morning to a leaking pipe at the 3800 block of San Pablo Dam Road.
The 8-inch cast iron pipeline’s break is not expected to cause flooding damage, but between 50 and 60 customers have lost water service. Figueroa said crews reported that it was a typical pipe break, and that repairs would be completed this afternoon.
On Wednesday morning, another broken pipe flooded at least one home and left 35 others without water in Lafayette.
